In this day and age, you can’t be too careful about who you let into your airspace. Did you know Norad (North American Air Defence) has a site where they track Santa’s progress from the North Pole via satellite across US airspace?
They do mostly focus on his progress towards the US, and there is the time difference to think of, butwww.noradsanta.org is the place to go on Christmas eve.
They’ve updated it, and now use four high-tech systems to track Santa – radar, satellites, Santa Cams and jet fighter aircraft.
Add to it the power of TV – it utterly convinced my kids when one of the Sydney TV channels announced that they had spotted Santa Claus in the sky and were tracking him on radar.
Visit the Norad site to track Santa’s progress across US airspace. If only the RAAF would do it for Australia…
