Fabric Christmas Tree
Is it easy enough for kids to make?:
no
This is one Christmas Tree that you won't have to worry about, if it falls over.
I made this many years ago. It did follow a pattern in one of the big sewing catalogues, but it's pretty easy to make without a pattern.
You will need to cut 6 green fabric and 6 white fabric "half trees", in a shape as follows:
If you wish to have a fancy edge, you will need a few metres of ribbon, for the outer border of the tree.
Basically sew the edges together, and then stuff the tree with whatever soft fabric or stuffing that you can find.
Attach a red ribbon or star to the top, and bells to each point of the tree.
